Dr. Joel Zivot, MD, FRCPC, MA

Dr. Joel B. Zivot has specialized experience in the fields of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. They earned their MA in Bioethics from Emory University and their MD from the University of Manitoba Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. After completing their residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine, they went on to complete a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. Today, the expert holds certifications in Critical Care Medicine and Anesthesiology. Previously, they held roles as a Fellowship Director of Critical Care Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, Adjunct Professor of Law at Emory University School of Law, and Adjunct Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Emory University Institute of Liberal Arts. Currently, they work as an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and the Department of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine.
