About Dr. Jennifer Kristina Svahn, FACS, MD

Dr. Jennifer K. Svahn has 24 years of experience in the field of Vascular Surgery. She earned her BA in Biological Sciences from Wellesley College and her MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing her residency in General Surgery at NYU Langone Health, she went on to complete her research fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the UCSD Medical Center and another fellowship in Vascular Surgery at NYU Langone Health. Today, this expert is board certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery/ American Board of Vascular Surgery. Formerly, she held roles such as an Attending Vascular Surgeon at Mount Sinai Hospital and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Currently, she serves as the Director of Vein Surgery at Union Square and as an Attending Vascular Surgeon at Northwell Health Physician Partners. She also works as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell.
