About Dr. Jeffrey William Buckholz, PE, PhD, PTOE

Dr. Jeffrey W. Buckholz has over 40 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering and Traffic Engineering. He earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Toledo, his MS in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MBA in Finance from the University of Toledo. He also obtained his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. Today, he is a Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer and a Licensed Professional Engineer in the States of Georgia, Florida, Michigan, California, Massachusetts, and Ohio. Moreover, he is a Licensed Electrical Contractor in the States of Georgia and Florida. Formerly, he served as a Transportation Engineer for the San Diego County Department of Transportation, as a Senior Transportation Engineer for the Road Commission for Oakland County, and as an Affiliated Faculty Member at the University of North Florida School of Engineering. He currently serves as the President and Chief Transportation Engineer of JW Buckholz Traffic Engineering Inc.
