Dr. Jeffrey Loeb, MD, PhD

Dr. Jeffrey A. Loeb has years of experience in Neurology and Epilepsy. He earned his BA in Chemistry, his MS in Biochemistry, his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Chicago, and MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School. Today, this expert is board-certified in Neurology. Formerly, he held roles as the Chair in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and as the Director of the Summer Undergraduate Program in the Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. Currently, he works as the Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Zy Therapeutics, as an Attending Neurologist at OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center, and as the Director of I-BRAIN at Discovery Partners Institute. He also serves as the John S. Garvin Chair, Professor, and Head of the Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago.
