About Dr. Jay Lawrence Stahl-Herz, MD

Dr. Jay L. Stahl-Herz has 8 years of experience in the fields of Forensic Pathology and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He earned his BA in Biology from New York University and his MD from New York Medical College. After completing a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, he completed fellowships in Forensic Pathology and Neuropathology and Cardiac Pathology, both at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of the City of New York. Today he is board-certified in Forensic Pathology and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Formerly, this expert served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departments of Forensic Medicine and Pathology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, and as an Adjunct Assitant Professor in the Departments of Forensic and Medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He is also a Medical Examiner for the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and a Per-Diem Medical Examiner for Erie County's Medical Examiner's Office. Moreover, he is the Proprietor of Brooklyn Forensics LLC.
