Dr. Jay Deep Pal has over 12 years of experience in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He earned his BA in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, and his MD and Ph.D. from the University of Health Sciences in Chicago. After completing his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of California, East Bay, he went on to complete another residency in Thoracic Surgery at Duke University. Today, this expert is board certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery and specializes in Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American Heart Association, and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.
