Dr. Jason John Schrager has nearly 15 years of experience as a General and Trauma Surgeon. He earned his BA in Biology from Drew University and his MD from Vanderbilt University. After completing his residency in General Surgery at Vanderbilt University and a fellowship in Trauma and Critical Care at the University of Cincinnati. Today, he is board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Formerly, He served as a General surgeon at the US Marine Corps, as a General Surgeon, Training Officer, the Director of the Surgical Clerkship, Chairman of Surgical Services, and the Department Head of General Surgery at US Naval Hospital of Okinawa. He also served as an Associate Medical Director of Acute Care Surgery, the Surgical Director of the Pre-operative Clinic, and the Medical Director of the Med-Surgical Unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Surgery at a Major Medical School in Ohio and the Medical Director of Acute Care Surgery, the General Surgery Prep clinic, the Wound Care Clinic, and the Trauma Surgery Outpatient Clinic at their affiliated Medical Center.
