About Dr. Jan Fritz, MD

Dr. Jan Fritz has 9 years of experience in the field of Radiology. He earned his MD from the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen Medizinische Fakultät in Germany. After completing a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen Medizinische Fakultät in Germany, he moved to the United States where he also completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Sinai Hospital. He then went on to complete another residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Today, this expert is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and is certified in Musculoskeletal Sonography by the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement. Formerly, he served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, as an Associate Director of the Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship, and as the Director of the Interventional Magnetic Resonance Imaging Service at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He currently serves as an Attending Physician at NYU Langone Health, Gouverneur Hospital, and Bellevue Hospital. He is also an Associate Professor of Radiology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and the Chief of the Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology at NYU Langone Health.
