Dr. James Verheyden, MD

Dr. James R. Verheyden has specialized experience in the fields of Hand Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, and General Surgery. They earned their BS in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and their MD from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. After completing their residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, they went on to complete a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Washington. Today, the expert holds certifications in Surgery of the Hand and Orthopedic Surgery. Previously, they held roles as an Independent Research and Laboratory Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Medical Director at Cascade Surgicenter LLC, and President at The Center for Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care & Research.
