Dr. Jack Sun, MD, MSc, FRCSC

Dr. Jack Sun has over 10 years of experience in the field of Cardiac Surgery. They earned their Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Upper Canada College, their Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto, and their Master of Science in Health Research Methodology from the University of Toronto. After completing their residency in cardiac surgery at McMaster University, they went on to complete a fellowship in transcatheter cardiovascular surgery at Harvard Medical School. Today, Dr. Sun is board certified in Cardiac Surgery. Formerly, Dr. Sun held roles as Medical Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and as Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Southern California. Currently, they serve as Chief of the Division of Cardiac Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, and as Director of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery.
