Dr. J. Wininger, PhD

This highly experienced expert has over 20 years of experience within his field. He earned his undergraduate education in biology with a minor in psychology from East Tennessee State University, his master's in biotechnology from the University of Tennessee, and his Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Tennessee. This expert is board-certified as a high complexity clinical laboratory director and as an embryology/andrology lab manager, as well as earning his certification as a clinical consultant. He is an active member of several professional associations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Association of Bioanalysts. He has previously held the position of lab technician and assistant lab director for the Fertility Center of East Tennessee and the director of fertility laboratory services for the Center of Reproductive Medicine in NC. He was also an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Wake Forest University, where he also held the positions of Lab Director and Scientific Director for the Center for Reproductive Medicine. Currently, this expert is the laboratory director for 5 different medical facilities, as well as the director of laboratories at a regional reproductive medicine center in NC.
