About Dr. Inna Sheyner, AGSF, CMD, MD

Dr. Inna Sheyner has 22 years of experience in the fields of Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She earned her MD from the First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg. After completing both an internship and a residency in Internal Medicine at Ravenswood Hospital Medical Center, she went on to complete a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She is also a Certified Medical Director through the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Geriatrics at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. She currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Division of Geriatrics at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. She is also an Attending Physician in the Skilled Nursing Facility, the Outpatient Geriatric Clinic, and the Hospice and Palliative Care Unit at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. Moreover, she is the Chief of the Long-Term Care Section and the Medical Director of the Community Living Center at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital.
