Dr. Hieu Ton-That, MD, FACS

Dr. Hieu H. Ton-That has years of experience in the fields of Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. He earned his BA from Brown University and his MD from Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. After completing his residency in General Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Rhode Island Hospital. Today, he is board-certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Formerly, he held roles as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, as the Medical Director of the Transfusion-Free Medicine and Surgery Program at Rhode Island Hospital, and as the Program Director of Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center. Currently, he serves as the Medical Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Loyola University Medical Center and as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
