Dr. Hamid R. Djalilian has 21 years of experience in the field of Otolaryngology. He earned his BA in Chemistry from Carleton College and his MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School. After completing an internship in Preliminary Surgery at Hennepin County Medical Center and his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School, he went on to complete a fellowship in Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery at the Minnesota Head and Neck Pain Clinic. Today, this expert is board certified in Neurotology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery through the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. He currently serves as a Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology, as the Director of Lateral Skull Base Surgery, and as a Co-Director of the Comprehensive Skull Base Program at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. He is also the Director of Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery at UCI Medical Center and a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine, Samueli School of Engineering.
