About Dr. Gregory James Artz Sr, FANS, MD
Dr. Gregory J. Artz has 14 years of experience in the field of Otolaryngology, specializing in Neurotology. He earned his BA in Military History from the University of Michigan and his MD from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. After completing a residency in Otolaryngology, Head, and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Neurotology at the Michigan Ear Institute. Today, this expert is board-certified in Neurotology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as the Assistant Director of the Otolaryngology Residency Program at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, as the Co-Director of the Balance and Hearing Center at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and as an Affiliated Scientist at the Monell Chemical Sciences Center. He currently serves as the Director of Vestibular Testing at the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital and as the Director of the Hearing Center at Grand Rapids Ear Nose & Throat, P.C, where he is also a Partner and Neurotologist. Moreover, he also serves as both the Co-Director of the Cochlear Implant Program and as a Cochlear Implant Surgeon for Spectrum Health Hospitals, and as an Otolaryngologist at the University of Michigan Health-West.
