Dr. Gayle Galan, MD, FACEP

Dr. Gayle A. Galan has years of experience in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. They earned their BA in Chemistry from the Case Western Reserve University and their MD from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. They completed residencies in Family Medicine at Akron City Hospital and in Occupational Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine before completing a fellowship in Trauma at the Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Systems. Dr. Galan is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. Formerly, Dr. Galan held roles as the Associate Director of Emergency Medicine at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, as the Director of the Emergency Department at St. Joseph Riverside Hospital, and as the Medical Director of the Psychiatric Emergency Department at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center. Currently, they work as the Associate Director of Emergency and Urgent Care Medicine and as Core Faculty in the Emergency Medicine Residency at Memorial Health System. They are also Chair of Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Education at Selby General Hospital.
