About Dr. Eric James Kraut, FACS, MD

Dr. Eric J. Kraut has 27 years of experience in the fields of General, Trauma, and Critical Care Surgery. He earned his BA in Psychology from Rollins College and his MD from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. After completing his internship and residency in General Surgery at Washington Hospital Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Critical Care at the University of California Davis Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Formerly, he was the Founder and Medical Director of North Bay Medical Group Surgery Center and North Bay Medical Group, Inc., as well as the Physician/Owner of Eric J. Kraut, M.D., Professional Corporation. He was also the Trauma Medical Director at Inova Loudoun Hospital. Currently, he is the Physician/Owner at Eric J Kraut MD, LLC, and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Johns Hopkins University Medical School. He also serves as Active Staff in the General Surgery Department at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Howard County General Hospital, and Suburban Hospital.
