About Dr. Emanuel Joseph Vlastos, FAAFP, FACOG, MD

Dr. Emanuel J. Vlastos has 21 years of experience in the field of Maternal and Fetal Medicine. He earned his BA in Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder and his MD from Creighton University School of Medicine. After completing residencies in Family Practice at the University of Wyoming and Obstetrics and Gynecology at Regions Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. Today, this expert is board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of the Fetal Health Center at Children's Mercy Hospital and as an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Fetal Care Center at the Center for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and as the Chief of the Center for Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. He also serves as the Director of Advanced Fetal Services at Orlando Health.
