About Dr. Elliot Michael Jessie, FACS, MBA, MD

Dr. Elliot Jessie has nearly 15 years of experience in the field of Trauma Surgery. He earned his BS in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana, his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine, and his MBA from George Washington University School of Business. After completing his residency in General Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Surgical Director of the Expeditionary Unit in the United States Army and as the Medical Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Currently, he serves as the Chief in the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He is also a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
