Dr. Winfield Wells, MD, FACS

Dr. Winfield J. Wells has 46 years of experience in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He earned his BS from Pomona College and his MD from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He completed both an internship and residency in Surgery, as well as a fellowship in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at New York - Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia. Today, this expert is board-certified in Congenital Cardiac Surgery and Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as the Chief of Staff at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery and the Director of the Thoracic Surgery Residency Program at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Cardiothoracic Surgery and as the Associate Director of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Training Program at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He is also a Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the Keck Hospital of USC and at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
