Dr. William Giakas, MD, FAPA

Dr. William Giakas has 33 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry with a specialization in Forensic and Geriatric Psychiatry. He earned his BA in Biochemistry from Cornell University and his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Greenwich Hospital and his residency in Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Geriatric Psychiatry. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois Chicago, as a Geriatric Psychiatry Consultant at Symphony Northwoods, and as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Rockford Psychiatric Medical Services, S.C.
