Dr. William Newman, MD

Dr. William J. Newman has 13 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry and Neurology. He earned his BS in Psychology and Zoology from the University of Florida and his MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in General Psychiatry at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, he completed a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the UC Davis School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience and as the Vice-Chair of Education, Psychiatry, and Behavioral Neuroscience at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin respectively. He is also a Founding Partner at ThNK Consultants.
