Dr. William Newman, MD

Dr. William J. Newman has specialized experience in the fields of Forensic Psychiatry and Psychiatry. They earned their BS in Psychology and Zoology from the University of Florida and their MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. After completing their residency in General Psychiatry at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, they went on to complete a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the UC Davis School of Medicine. Today, the expert holds certifications in Forensic Psychiatry and Psychiatry. Previously, they held roles as a Vice Chair, Professor, and Interim Chair at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Currently, they work as a Founding Partner at ThNK Consultants, LLC, Professor at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, and Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
