Dr. William Trattler, MD

Dr. William B. Trattler has specialized experience in the fields of Ophthalmology, Cornea, and External Diseases. They earned their BA in Biology from Dartmouth College and their MD from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. After completing their residency in Ophthalmology at Scheie Eye Institute Penn Presbyterian, they went on to complete a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Cataract/Refractive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Today, the expert holds a certification in Ophthalmology. Previously, they held roles as Surgical Staff at the Miami VA Medical Center and as a Voluntary Assistant Professor at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Currently, they work as an Eye Surgeon and as the Director of Cornea at the Center for Excellence in Eye Care. They are also a Vice Chair of Research at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
