Dr. William Trattler, MD

Dr. William Trattler has 26 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology. He earned his BA in Biology from Dartmouth College and his MD from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Ophthalmology at Scheie Eye Institute Penn Presbyterian, he went on to complete a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Cataract/Refractive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Ophthalmology. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Volunteer Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and as a Surgeon in the Emergency Department at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Currently, he serves as the Director of Cornea and an Eye Surgeon at the Center for Excellence in Eye Care and as the Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Ophthalmology at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
