Dr. Tomas Salerno, MD, FACS, FCCP

Dr. Tomas Salerno, MD, FACS, FCCP has over 30 years of experience in the field of surgery, specializing in cardiothoracic surgery. He earned his BS, his MS, and his MDCM from McGill University. He then completed his internship, residency in general surgery, and residency in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in cardiac and thoracic surgery. He is active in his field, holding editorial board member positions for a number of scientific journals including Cardiovascular Engineering, the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery Editorial Board, and the Editorial Board of Case Reports in Medicine.
