Dr. Shlomo Shinnar, MD, PhD

Dr. Shlomo Shinnar has over 40 years of experience in Pediatrics and Neurology, with expertise in Epilepsy, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Child Neurology. He earned his BA in Physics from Columbia University and his PhD and MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After completing his residency in Pediatrics and Neurology, he completed a Child Neurology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Pediatrics, Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology, and Epilepsy. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology and Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and as an Associate Attending Physician of Neurology and Pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Management Center at Montefiore Medical Center and as a Professor Emeritus in the Departments of Neurology and Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
