After completing his residency in Psychiatry at Georgetown University Hospital, he pursued a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine. Today, Dr. Gershan is board certified in Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. Formerly, he held roles as Associate Director in the Division of Forensic Psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center and as a Psychiatrist in the Recovery from Early Psychosis Program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Currently, he serves as a Physician Mental Health Liaison at Lurie Children’s Hospital and as a Physician Health Liaison at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
