Dr. Samuel Ross, MD, MPH, FACS

Dr. Samuel W. Ross has 5 years of experience in the field of Surgery with expertise in Surgical Critical Care. He earned his BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his MPH in Public Health Leadership from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, and his MD from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. After completing his residency and research fellowship in Surgery at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at the Parkland Memorial Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Instructor of the Intern Boot Camp at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, as an Acute Care Surgeon at Atrium Health University City, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
