Dr. Richard Joe Ybarra has 36 years of experience in the fields of Emergency Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Family Medicine. He earned his BS in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology from Houston Christian University and his MD from the Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Today, this expert is board certified in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine. Additionally, he holds a Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers' Health through the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and is Certified in Health Care Quality and Management through the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. He is also a Registered Lobbyist in the State of Texas. Formerly, this expert served as Physician at SignatureCare Emergency Center and as the Regional Medical Director of Neighbors Emergency Center. He currently serves as a Lobbyist and as the President of Coherence Group, PBC. He is also a Director and a Physician at Emergence Holdings LLC and the Owner of R. Joe Ybarra, MD Healthcare Clinic & Wellness, where he also serves as a Physician. Moreover, he is a Physician at Inspyre Physical Medicine & Wellness and the Medical Director of Air Ambulance 1, where he also serves as a Flight Doctor.
