Dr. Peter D. Panagos has 20 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. He earned his BA in History from Dartmouth College and his MD from the Emory University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Surgery at Naval Medical Center San Diego and both a residency in Emergency Medicine and a fellowship in Neurological Emergencies and Stroke at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Emergency Medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Neurology and as a Co-Director of the Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center at the Washington University School of Medicine. He currently serves as an Attending Physician at St. Louis Children's Hospital and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where he also serves as the Director of Neurovascular Emergencies. He is also Co-Director of the Stroke Network, a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Neurology, and Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs and Development in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine.
