Dr. Nitin Bhatia, MD

Dr. Nitin N. Bhatia has years of experience in the field of Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his BS in Biology from Stanford University and his MD from Baylor College of Medicine. After completing his internship in General Surgery at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, he went on to complete a fellowship in Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Spinal Surgery and Spinal Deformity at Jackson Memorial Hospital and Nicklaus Children's Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Acting Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery, and as the Director of the Residency Program at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery, as the Co-Director of Spine Fellowship in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and as the Chief of Adult and Pediatric Spinal Surgery and the Orthopaedic Spine Service at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. He also serves as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at UCI Health.
