Dr. Mitchell Abrams has specialized experience in the fields of Clinical and Psychology. They earned their BS from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, their MS in Applied Psychology from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus, and their PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus. Previously, they held roles as a Director of Inpatient Psychology at Northern State Prison at Center for Family Guidance, Clinician Administrator at University Correctional Healthcare (UCHC)/Rutgers, and Consultant at Grant from the Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering and Tracking (SMART) Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Justice. Currently, they work as a Founding Partner & Chief Executive Officer at Private Practice – Learned Excellence for Athletes and Abrams Psychological Services, Clinical Assistant Professor at Rutgers -Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (Formerly UMDNJ), and Chief Psychologist & Manager of Clinical Services/Testing at University Correctional Healthcare (UCHC)/Rutgers.
