Dr. Meade Palmer, MD, MPH, FACS

Dr. Meade T. Palmer has specialized experience in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. They earned their BS from Saint Joseph's University - Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, their MPH from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, and their MD from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. After completing their residency in General Surgery at Pontiac General Hospital, they went on to complete a fellowship in Trauma and Critical Care at Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems. Today, the expert holds certifications in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery. Previously, they held roles as a Clinical Faculty at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, General Surgeon at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center, and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Currently, they work as a General Surgeon/ Acute Care Surgeon at UNC Health Caldwell, General Surgeon/ Acute Care Surgeon at Carolinas Physician Network, and General Surgeon at The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority.
