Dr. Lowell H. Steen Jr. has 34 years of experience in the fields of Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He earned his BA in Economics from Colgate University and his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Adult Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Loyola University Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology. Formerly, he served as a House Physicians Program Coordinator at St. Catherine Hospital, as the Director of Interventional Cardiology at Columbus Hospital, and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a William B. Knapp Endowed Chair in the Department of Medicine and as Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He also serves as the Director and Chief of the Cardiology Division and as an Interventional Cardiology Physician at Loyola University Medical Center.
