Dr. Lawrence Shuer, MD, FAANS

Dr. Lawrence M. Shuer has specialized experience in the fields of Epilepsy, Spine, and Neurological Surgery. They earned their BA in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Michigan and their MD from the University of Michigan Medical School. After completing their residency in Neuropathology at Stanford Hospital & Clinics, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neurology at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology. Today, the expert holds a certification in Neurological Surgery. Previously, they held roles as an Acting Chair and Associate Dean at Stanford University School of Medicine and Chief of Staff at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. Currently, they work as a Professor and Associate Chair at Stanford University School of Medicine and a Neurosurgeon at Stanford Health Care.
