Dr. Lauren E. Honig has 5 years of experience in the field of Political Science. She earned her BA in Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University and her Ph.D. in Comparative Politics and International Relations from Cornell University. Formerly, she served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Notre Dame Kellogg Institute for International Studies. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Boston College and as a Research Associate in the Governance and Local Development Program at the University of Gothenburg. She also serves as a Participating Faculty Member in the African and African Diaspora Studies Program and as as a Contributing Faculty Member in the Environmental Studies Program at Boston College.
