Dr. Kenneth Schenkman, MD, PhD, FAAP

Dr. Kenneth A. Schenkman has specialized experience in the fields of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Pediatrics. They earned their BS in Chemistry from Purdue University, their MD from Indiana University School of Medicine, and their PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington. After completing their residency in Pediatrics at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, they went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Seattle Children's Hospital. Today, the expert holds a certification in Critical Care Medicine. Previously, they held roles as an Adjunct Associate Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Medical Director at Seattle Children's Hospital. Currently, they work as an Attending Physician at Seattle Children's Hospital, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder at Opticyte, Inc., and Attending Physician at Community Medical Center.
