Dr. Kasra Maasumi, MD, MS, QME

Dr. Kasra C. Maasumi has specialized experience in the fields of Brain Injury Medicine, Neurology, and Pain Medicine. They earned their BS in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, their MD from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, and their MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. After completing their residency in Neurology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, they went on to complete a fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. Today, the expert holds certifications in Headache Medicine, Pain Medicine, and Neurology. Previously, they held roles as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF School of Medicine, Director at UCSF Health, and Staff Physician at Pain Medicine Associates. Currently, they work as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University, a Staff Physician at NewportCare Medical Group, and a Physician at Maasumi Headache & Spine Care.
