After completing his residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Michigan, he went on to complete a fellowship in Child Neurology at UCSD Medical Center and a second fellowship Epidemiology at the National Institutes of Health. He went on to complete a third fellowship in Neuroimaging at Winchester Medical Center.
