This human factors expert earned his BA in psychology and his MA in experimental social psychology from San Diego State University before completing a PhD in applied and experimental psychology from the Catholic University of America. He is very active as a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and has completed various types of military training including 700 hours of flight time as a member of the flight crew on different Navy aircrafts. In addition, he has over 100 peer-reviewed articles and has presented over 50 papers at conferences on topics related to human factors, psychology, and aviation. Formerly, this expert has served as an adjunct faculty member in psychology and human factors at Grand Canyon University, Capella University, and Rollins College. He also held positions as an aerospace psychologist for Defense Training and Performance Data Center, manager of human systems integration for CHI Systems, Inc., and senior instructional psychologist for FlightSafety International. This expert currently is an adjunct professor of psychology at a university in Arizona and is a full-time professor of human factors at a university in Florida.
