Dr. Jeffrey E. Friedman has over 17 years of experience in the field of General Surgery with expertise in Bariatric Surgery. He earned his BS in Biology from Emory University and his MD from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. After completing his residency in General Surgery at Carraway Methodist Medical Center and Bassett Medical Center, he went on to complete a research fellowship at Bassett Medical Center and then a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola. Today, this expert is board-certified in Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Assistant Medical Director at Ascension Sacred Heart Surgical Weight Loss Center, as the Medical Director of the Bariatric Program at Baptist Health Care, and as the Chief of Bariatric/Minimally Invasive Surgery at Previty Surgical Clinic.
