Dr. James Macon, MD, FACS

Dr. James B. Macon has 45 years of experience in the field of Neurological Surgery. He earned his BA in Chemistry from Princeton University and his MD from Harvard Medical School. After completing an internship in General Surgery at the Stanford Hospital and Clinics, he went on to complete a residency in Neurosurgical Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and a fellowship in Neurophysiology at the National Institutes of Health. Today, this expert is board-certified in Neurological Surgery. Formerly, he served as a Neurosurgeon at Jelsma, Jelsma, Macon, and Lee, P.S.C., as a Neurosurgeon at the Norton Audubon Hospital, and both as a Neurosurgeon and the Chief of the Department of Neurological Surgery at the Eisenhower Medical Center. He also served as a Neurosurgeon for Fredericksburg Neuological Surgery, Inc., and as a Neurosurgeon at the Cape Cod Hospital and the Milford Regional Medical Center. He currently serves as a Neurosurgeon at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital and both as a Neurosurgeon and a Director at Future Neurospine, Inc.
