Dr. Henry Arts, MD, FACS

Dr. Henry A. Arts has specialized experience in the fields of Otology & Neurotology, Bioengineering, and Otolaryngology. They earned their BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, their MD from the Baylor College of Medicine, and their MSE in Bioengineering from the University of Washington. After completing their residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center, they went on to complete a fellowship in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Virginia Hospital. Today, the expert holds certifications in Neurotology and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Previously, they held roles as a Pilot at Endeavor Air, Inc., as a Pilot at USA Jet Airlines, and as a Clinical Professor at the University of Michigan Medical School. Currently, they work as a Flight Instructor and as a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner with Ann Arbor Aviation Medicine, as a Clinical Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan Medical School, and as a Surgeon (Part-Time) at the Iowa Ear Center.
