Dr. Gilbert Kliman, MD has over 50 years of experience in child psychiatry. He earned his BA from the University of Cincinnati and an MD from Harvard Medical School. He then went on to complete a residency in psychiatry at Cornell University and Bronx Municipal Hospital. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in science and psychiatry and child psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in psychiatry and child psychiatry. He is active in his field as a member of several organizations including the American Psychiatric Association, the American Association for Child Psychoanalysis, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Additionally, he taught as an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical School. More recently, he served as the founder and director of preventive psychiatry service at Elmhurst General Hospital.
