Dr. Eugene Grossi, MD, FACS

Dr. Eugene A. Grossi has 33 years of experience in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He earned his BA in Chemistry from Columbia University and his MD from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing an internship in Surgery, he completed his residencies in Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery at Bellevue Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and today, this expert is board-certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as an Attending Surgeon at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center - City Campus and as a Professor of Surgery at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Director of the Thoracic Residency Program and as the Director of Cardiac Surgical Research for NYU Langone Health. He is also the Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery for VA New York Harbor Healthcare System - Brooklyn and an Attending Surgeon at Tisch Hospital, NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, and the Manhattan VA Medical Center. Moreover, he is also a Surgeon with NYU Cardiology Surgery Associates and the Stephen B. Colvin, MD Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
