Dr. Dexter Voisin, PhD, MSW, MPhil

This , licensed social worker, has over two decades of experience in his field. He received his BA in psychology from St. Andrews College, his MS in social work from The University of Michigan and his M.Phil and Ph.D. from Columbia University. Within the field of social work, he focuses his research on community and family violence exposure, HIV prevention, and adolescent risk and protective factors. This expert has published over 120 peer-reviewed journal articles and has lectured at prestigious conferences both nationally and internationally. He was formerly a clinical therapist at a private practice in Illinois and associate professor in the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. Currently, he is the co-director of an AIDS research program and HIV elimination center, and professor at an IL university.
