Dr. David Markenson has years of experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He earned his BA from Union College, his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and his MBA in Healthcare Administration from Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. After completing his residency in Primary Care Pediatrics at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, he went on to complete fellowships in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Bellevue Hospital Center and Pediatric Critical Care at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. Dr. Markenson is board-certified in Pediatrics and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics, Clinical Informatics by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Formerly, he served as Chief Medical Officer at Sky Ridge Medical Center, Pressure Safe LLC, and the American Red Cross Training Services Division. Currently, he is the Professor, Director, and Medical Director at the NYMC School of Health Sciences and Practice, and an Attending Physician at St. Vincent Regional Hospital and the Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
