Dr. David King, MD, FACS

Dr. David R. King has 15 years of experience in General Surgery with expertise in Trauma Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. He earned his BS in Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Tampa and his MD from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. After completing his two residencies in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Jackson Memorial Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and as the Director of Research in the Division of Trauma, and as the Director of Trauma Research at Massachusetts General Hospital. Currently, he serves as an Attending Surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He also serves as the Co-Founder and Surgical Director of SurgiBox Inc. and as the Chief Executive Officer at Global Expeditionary Surgery, LLC.
