Dr. Dan Rubenstein

Dr. Dan Rubenstein has over 15 years of experience in computer science and engineering, specializing in wireless and sensor networks, resilience and security, distributed algorithms, and performance evaluation and mathematical modeling. He earned his BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his MA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. After earning his PhD, he served as a Visiting Scientist at Google. He is active in his field as a member of several professional organizations including the Journal of Computer Networks and the Computer Communications Journal. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Columbia University. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor of Computer Science at an Ivy League university in New York and is also the Co-Founder of a VMware caching software company in New York.
