Dr. Christopher Ellis, MD, FHRS

Dr. Christopher R. Ellis has 14 years of experience in the field of Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He earned his BS in Microbiology and Immunology from Cornell University and his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he went on to complete fellowships in Electrophysiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Michigan Health. Today, this expert is board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Professor of the Division of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, as the Director of Clinical Arrhythmia Research and as the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology Laboratory at Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute. Currently, he serves as a Consultant at Cor-LAA Consultants, LLC, and as the Director of the Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure Program at Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute.
